guitar-based electric blues as they thought that this genre of music was
quickly fading away in today’s pop-saturated world They quickly developed
their own unique brand of electric blues and a musical maturity that took
the local music scene by storm with their lively and unpredictable
performances. The mix of passions and styles is both a strength and a
hindrance as the music industry looks for ways to make bands conform to one
particular set of rules. This is the only reason the band has not, and
should be, snapped up by someone brave enough to take a chance.
The band for the last couple of years have been taking to stages around the
North-West area and beyond, each time leaving their musical footprints with
superb live performances. Highlights include headlining festivals in
Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales, with particular noteworthy
performances at “In The City”, and for Charabanc/HMV showcases. The latter
leading to the “Attention” E.P. being placed on sale to the general public
in selected HMV stores and over the internet.
The band were given a huge boost with the launch of their own website,
www.redmojo.co.uk, which gives the fans and the curious a base to find out
everything that goes on in the world of Redmojo, from downloading exclusive
MP3 tracks and purchasing CDs to picture galleries and a guestbook for fan
feedback.
The band have recently returned from a well earned break where they recorded their latest EP, “Beg To Differ”, and work has commenced on the new untitled 6th E.P. This has paved the way for a shift in style yet again and a new eagerness to start playing live and showing the rest how it should be done. The band made a triumphant comeback in support to the Suffrajets, playing to a packed music club in Warrington. This was just the latest in a long line of gigs supporting signed acts including Seafood, Easyworld and Spek.
Self confident and with a professionalism rarely seen in the unsigned world, the band are surely destined for great things.
